To Nino Saakashvili, conflict is never distant. Observing the tragedies in Ukraine, Syria, Gaza, and Iran, she identifies a universal resonance of fear and loss, specifically within the lives of innocent civilians and children.

Through this body of work, the artist interrogates a vital question: What defines the essence of existence in times of conflict versus times of quietude?
